Karl Springer’s over-scaled sculpture low table is made with free-form inlay of natural goatskin with a polished lacquered finish. Given the complexity of the design only around six examples of the Sculpture coffee table were ever produced. This beautiful coffee table is a tribute to Springer’s unsurpassed craftsmanship. The Sculpture Low Table is available by commission for custom orders in a variety of sizes and a choice of ten colorways of goatskin.

Though he based his designs on European classical forms, Karl Springer developed an irreverent and non-doctrinaire idiom of bold proportions, highly exotic finishes, and a sometimes-flashy palette that identified him strongly with his American clientele. His work speaks with the confidence and energy of the 1970s and 80s and now finds new relevance in the world of contemporary design.
