Jessica Boubetra & Jean Baptiste Lenglet, Coral Cores Totem, FR, 2024
Jessica Boubetra’s and Jean Baptiste Lenglet’s work challenges the boundaries between art and design, blending the organic and the technological. Her Natures Diffractées series exemplifies her innovative approach to form and material.
The Natures Diffractées series takes inspiration from the study of marine organisms, transforming their complex shapes into both sculptural pieces and functional works. These works merge printed ceramics with hand-blown borosilicate glass, creating an interplay of light, color, and texture that shifts between organic and digital aesthetics.
The Coral Cores Totem explores the intricate structures of coral. Through this work, Boubetra & Lenglet push the boundaries of ceramic production, using both 3D printing technology and traditional handcrafting methods to produce pieces that are as much about form as they are about texture and color.
The Natures Diffractées series reflects their unique ability to blend nature, technology, and craftsmanship, resulting in objects that are both visually striking and conceptually rich.
Jessica Boubetra’s and Jean Baptiste Lenglet’s works are not only art objects—they are a glimpse into the future of ceramics, design, and the fusion of organic and artificial worlds.
