This Custom Original Standard Back Tufted Sofa is the single-base option for Todd Merrill’s unique, and customizable seating design. The tufting is made with multiple layers of foam, giving wonderful support and cushioning while retaining a low, sleek aesthetic.

Merrill’s signature creations reflect his vast experience with twentieth-century design and knowledge of contemporary tastes. The pieces are crafted at some of New York’s finest workshops and Merrill personally oversees production. The frames are made of solid hardwood and steel. A standard base is rendered in polished chromed steel but can be customized in brass, bronze, lacquer, or wood. A variety of fabrics and colors are possible.
