Designed in 1955 by Osvaldo Borsani for the Italian manufacturer Tecno, the elegant P40 chaise lounge chair is an icon of mid-century modern design, providing optimal relaxation and versatility. Through technical innovation, Brosani extended the potential of the classic chaises designed by the Modernist movement’s most renowned architects. Featuring mobile parts, a height adjustable backrest, and flexible self-adjusting armrests, the chair is architectural in scope and accommodating in design.  A metal pedestal supports the seat and backrest, both of which pivot to form various angles. A foldaway element under the seat can extend outwards to provide extended leg support as well as a foot rest. The lounge chair has been upholstered in a beautiful Dior Grey leather and is in pristine condition.
