Djivan Schapira creates unique works of collectible design that draw inspiration from his split childhood growing up between the French countryside and New York City. In his early 20s, he began experimenting with resins, developing techniques and a distinct style that would become the cornerstone of his artistic output.

Schapira’s White Lotus Series, is his latest collection of resin tables. The series’ title was inspired by the floral shape the inlaid pine cone crosscuts form. This series plays off of Schapira’s 2021 collection of resin tables, Les Fleurs, but veers into minimalism with its monochrome palette.

In May 2022, Djivan was the winning recipient of both the Emerging Product Designer of the Year Award in the Furniture category, as well as the People’s Choice Award which crossed all mediums. His work has been featured in world-renowned publications including Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Modern Luxury, Surface Magazine, and Owners: a French magazine exclusively for Aston Martin owners, in addition to winning an internationally acclaimed A’ Design Award 2019.
