This large bronze floor lamp features a removable lantern with a bronze criss-cross design over glass. A similar floor lamp is depicted in a 1938 photograph of the interior of the new Fontana Arte boutique in Rome, featured in Laura Falconi’s book, Fonatana Arte: Una Storia Transparente. This piece was purchased during the May 2006 Sotheby’s sale curated by Gordon Watson.
