Heralded as one of the twentieth centuryโs most important designers, John Dickinson (1920-1982) created furnishings that delight the senses and engage the mind.
Dickinson grew up in Berkeley, California and attended the Parsons School of Design. In 1956, he returned to San Francisco and launched his interior decorating firm. His furniture is a unique combination of simplicity, functionality, and surrealist whimsy.
